Twofer Card Challenge #26 ~ Winners!

Hello!

It's time to announce our Winners and Honorable Mentions for Twofer Card Challenge #26 ~ Rain/Umbrella! It was fun and inspiring to see the ways you stretched your design skills and used the same stamp, stencil, or die in creative ways on your two different cards for two different occasions!

Here are the winners!

Congratulations to our Conventional Winner:
Both of our winners showed the concept of Twofer brilliantly. Jenny was able to create two completely different design layouts without altering her darling umbrella-toting hippo. For her encouragement card, Jenny has her hippo hanging in there on a cloudy day in the city, while her sweet hippo friends remain grounded. And on her second design, her hippo is celebrating by making a splash in a fun shaker card design!

Congratulations to our Unconventional Winner:
Linda gave us excellent inspiration for how to make unconventional Twofer cards. She made a conventional get well design on the left with a cheery and colorful umbrella card. And then the fun begins when it takes a minute to find the umbrella in Linda's unconventional birthday design! She made the cutest umbrella turtle holding colorful balloons by its little tail and then she drew on a head checking you out and adorable fat turtle toes!

Well done, Jenny and Linda!
Here is your Winner's Badge to proudly display on your blog!
I will be in touch with details about being our future Guest Designer!

We've had some fun unconventional entries so far, but I thought for sure we would have more. Hmm? Are your wheels turning? Either conventionally or unconventionally, we can't wait to see your creativity!

Feel free to interpret the prompt however it inspires youbut remember to use the same stamp, stencil, or die for the prompt on two different designs for two different occasions. Please check the tabs at the top for additional rules and information.
To inspire you a bit more, Bev has made another Twofer for you. Her cards were made several weeks ago. Some of you may have heard that Bev's husband John passed away earlier this month. We all send our condolences and our prayers to our beloved teammate.
What common prompt element did Bev use? For the details on these delightful cards, please visit her Happy Dance blog.

Twofer Card Challenge #26 ~ Rain/Umbrella

Hello and Welcome!

We are thinking of everyone who is isolating or ill because of the pandemic. We are fortunate to have our crafting community to distract us and make us feel like we are making a difference just by sharing or sending little works of art to spread love and cheer. We hope our challenge will inspire you to play along.
This month our challenge prompt is:
This means the common stamp, die, or stencil you use on your two cards can feature rain/raindrops, umbrella(s), or both. Judging by the amazing inspiration below, this is going to be a very creative gallery, so please make sure you identify in your post what stamp, die, or stencil is common on both your different designs!

  • Feel free to interpret the prompt however it inspires you to make two different design layouts (don't put the prompt in the same place on both cards), for two different occasions.
  • Please remember that you must use the same stamp (as opposed to the same set of stamps) and you may use digis for any elements of your Twofer designs, except the prompt element.
  • You're welcome to make two conventional designs or a combination of one conventional and one unconventional design.

PLEASE take a few minutes to review the Rules and Definitions/ Examples tabs above
.

We appreciate your enthusiasm and support and want to see you stretch your stamps, stencils, dies, and design skills!
