Twofer Card Challenge #2

Hello and Welcome!

 THANK YOU for your incredible participation in last month's challenge! There were 132 entries, which means you made 264 cards to spread joy, love, and thoughtfulness throughout the world! Go YOU!!

February is a MONTH of LOVE! We hope you still have lots of design ideas left to express that love in card art. Hearts are not just for Valentines ~ you can use them in your designs for any number of other occasions as the Design Team shows so well below! 

Twofer Card Challenge Rules
Please read! The rules have been changed 
to make them more explicit.
  • Use the monthly PROMPT.
  • Use the EXACT same stamp or die.
  • Make two distinctly DIFFERENT DESIGNS.
  • Make your cards for two DIFFERENT OCCASIONS.
    (Please explain in your post if there is no sentiment on your card front.)
  • Link ONE PHOTO of both cards here AND on any social media.
  • IF you post on social media, use the FULL NAME #twofercardchallenge.
  • FOLLOW this blog.
  • NO BACKLINKS, which means your post date/time must be after the challenge date/time.
  • Please SUPPORT the Design Team and your fellow players by leaving some encouragement below and on other gallery entries. 
  • Please READ the Frequently Asked Questions under the FAQ tab above for helpful additional information.
  • Have FUN!
      PLEASE NOTE the badge has been changed to replace the word "card" with the word "design" to reflect the concept of the challenge more accurately. It's not a major change, but a reminder that we are looking for two different designs when you make your cards. If you have kindly displayed the Twofer Card Challenge badge on your side bar, the one shown above on the side bar is the new one.

      We hope you will be inspired by the example creations from your talented Design Team! You can find detailed information about their designs on their individual blogs. 

      Aren't they fantastic?! Now it's your turn! We were so amazed by the enthusiasm you brought to our first challenge and we cannot wait to see that same enthusiasm and participation with this HEART prompt! Mwah!

      The challenge is open until 11:55 AM (PST) February 24th.
      The winner and the Honorable Mentions will be posted 
      at 12:05 AM (PST) on February 28th.

      The Winner will have the opportunity to be a future Guest Designer!

        FABULOUS cards DT!! I really had to study a few to see the same hearts used which is what makes it so fun and unique...great job everyone!

        Indeed you have some fantastic designers with loads of heart inspiration. Love your 2 cards, and especially the butterfly effect on the green inlay heart. How clever to replicate the beautiful butterfly motif on the inlaid heart. Looks 'quilted'. The creamy one made me think of the iced candies with the white chocolate that you get in the Valentine boxes. Yummy. Also love the butterfly coloration on #2. Yeah for the 2fer! TFS (and we hope to leave next week, God willing). Hope the eyes are doing great too. Hugs

        So many beautiful Hearts examples by you and your talented DT. Darnell. Love how different the Twofer designs look and are for different occasions even tho using the same stamp or die. Thank you so much the inspiration. I can't wait to play again this month. Such a fun way to get 2 different cards for different occasions. Hugs...

        I'm always happy when the month of February is over and challenges aren't asking for hearts or love-themed cards anymore, since we don't celebrate Valentine's Day. But after seeing the DT's cards I promise I will take a good look at the few heart stamps and dies that I do own and try to come up with something creative. After all, that's what challenges are for, right?!

        Fab work by the DT. I'm so sorry that my photo is only of one of the cards, and I understand if this disqualifies me... I'm so used to taking individual pics and was so glad to have actually managed to enter this month that I forgot about that rule :(

        Thank you, Sandie! Be assured, we do not just look at the gallery photos! At least two or more members of the DT visit each post to see the individual photos of the cards and read about the process. Having two photos in one card is helpful to the DT at the end of the challenge when it is time to choose the winners. Sometimes it is several days since the blog was visited and with a lot of entries, it helps the DT see at a glance that two cards were made, that they are different designs, and that they are for two different occasions. This helps us narrow down our choices for winners and after that, we again visit those blogs to confirm our choices have followed the rules. I hope it helps to know that this rule is strictly for the convenience of the DT and we do visit each entry. We appreciate your understanding and the effort you went through to comply! Mwah!
