Here is Verna's creative take on the challenge!
Do you see how Verna has used the same flower blossom stamp on both her different designs? She has used the blossom stamp to decorate the Easter eggs and make the grass! Very inventive and unexpected! Thank you, Verna!

Verna and I used our flower stamps in unexpected ways, which was fun, but that is NOT a rule for this challenge! Please note below that all the rest of the Design Team made traditional floral cards to inspire you and show you all you need to do is use your flower stamp or die to make two flower card designs!!

Great inspiration from you and the rest of the DT for this blossoms challenge Darnell, and congratulations to your GD Verna who came up with a very clever alternative way of using that pretty flower with Easter on the horizon. I will have to get my thinking cap on. x
ReplyDeleteOh man, this is getting too clever for me! What really great DT cards :) I hope to be back.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Di xx

ReplyDeleteCongrats Verna on being the GD! Your cards are beautiful! As are the design team’s! I love floral cards, so am looking forward to creating something for your fun challenge!
ReplyDeleteAmazing work of the DT and of GD Verna!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Verna for your DT spot, your cards are gorgeous and so inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the works to finish my cards, this one is really making me work my noodle, LOL!!
Big hugs to all.
Maria Rodriguez.
Such a fun challenge! Thanks for all the inspiration from the Design Team and Guest DT - amazing to see all the creativity with flowers!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous and inspiring!
ReplyDeleteElaine
Congratulations to Verna being guest designer and coming up with such fabulous and clever designs! Same goes for all the DT designs too! Must get thinking! xxx
ReplyDeleteSorry my photo looks cropped but can't fit my two cards properly on the link photo...hope this is still OK? x
ReplyDeleteYour photo is fine, Mac! This rule is strictly for the convenience of the Design Team. Be assured, we do not just look at the gallery photos! At least two or more members of the DT visit each entry to see the individual photos of the cards and read about the process. Having two photos in one card is helpful to the DT at the end of the challenge when it is time to choose the winners. Sometimes it is several days since the blog was visited and with a lot of entries, it helps the DT see at a glance that two cards were made. This helps us narrow down our choices for winners and after that, we again visit those blogs to confirm our choices. Thank you for playing! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteThe DT and Guest Desugner Verna have created some wonderfully creative cards. Great inspiration!
ReplyDeleteGreat inspiration from you Darnell and all the Design Team. It's lovely to see Verna as your Guest Designer with her super cards. Thank you for a fun challenge. Glad I've finally managed to make it. Barbxx
ReplyDeleteOh Magoo You've Done it Again! LOL What a fun theme and the team has done an amazing job with all their fabulous inspiration! Congrats to Verna for being Guest Designer (so well deserved) and Darnell ... you always make me think outside of the box ... thanks for that!! I will be sharing my projects later in the week but in the meantime I'm lovin' all the amazing ideas you are all sharing! WELL DONE!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect prompt for the month that ushers in spring. Thanks for another set of wonderfully inspiring DT cards. Glad to have a chance to play along. :)
ReplyDeleteI feel like Di...your designers have inspiration way beyond me! However, your blog said that the two cards didn't have to show amazing clever alternative uses for the images, so I've taken you at your word! And, as usual, really happy that you've pushed me to make two - so nice to have a 'blank for your own special message' type card in stock!
ReplyDeleteSorry for not commenting before. Love all of the inspiration by the DT. Some really clever alternative uses of flower stamps and dies. I actually created two blossom designs this weekend, using a stencil, but noticed that the challenge rules only mention stamps and dies. Can I still play?
ReplyDeleteHi Marianne, Of course you can still play after you have used your time and talent to make your twofer cards even if you won't be eligible for a win. FAQ #15 addresses this question and explains that we want your primary image to be created with a stamp or die. We'd still love to see your entry in the gallery! Also, you are welcome to enter more than once and have a fourfer in your stash! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteI finally got some cards done and happy for the encouragement this challenge gives me to add two to my stash. I needed them! DT, you are all hugely inspiring with your variety of beautiful cards!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the clarification Darnell. I'm hoping I can create another twofer before the linky closes. I tend to sneak in at the last minute (or find a closed door just after haha).
ReplyDeleteAwesome cards Verna!So creative!
ReplyDeleteLove this challenge. Great to make two cards for one challenge. Fantastic inspirations and work by Darnell and the design team.
ReplyDeleteLovely, unique, gorgeous and fun inspiration from the whole DT. Great work everyone!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that I found the strength to make these cards. Spring fatigue eats me alive, but I fight, I fight :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Darnell for the next portion of incredible inspiration for DT and capture the imagination of others. It is amazing what you can create when you look at our tools differently. Thank you again for opening your mind :-)
Big hugs for everyone,
BozenA
Fabulous makes from the design team Darnell. This challenge really made me think 'outside the box' as I'm not a great stamper!
