Twofer Card Challenge #13 ~ Winners!

Hello!

It's time to announce our Winners and Honorable Mentions for Twofer Card Challenge #13! Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and your sensational card designs! You all did a wonderful job with the STARS prompt and you rocked the concept of two different designs for two different occasions! Once again, it was such fun seeing the ways you stretched those design skills and used the same stamp, stencil, or die in creative ways on both your designs!

Here are the winners!

Congratulations to #42 Susan Bridgman (Cardmakers Garret)
Susan's magical designs are very clean and crisp and striking! For her Christmas card, Susan used a starry die to create a gorgeous night sky from a Brusho snippet which she backed with glittery gold. This created a lovely winter backdrop for her house on a snowy hill surrounded by snowy evergreen trees! For her birthday card, Susan created a large text-embossed star for her focal point and she surrounded it with the Brusho stars from her Christmas card Brusho die-cutting. A simple sentiment and wonky stitching finished the panel which she attached to a beautiful specialty card base.

Well done, Susan!
Here is your Winner's Badge to proudly display on your blog!
I will be in touch with details about being our future Guest Designer!
There were no unconventional entries this month.

Congratulations to our fabulous February Honorable Mentions!

Bobby used a starry galaxy as the prompt element for her two terrific designs. She used it wonderfully as gold confetti stardust behind her cute birthday bear with his rainbow party hat. The sentiment could not be more perfect! For her Christmas card, Bobby used the starry galaxy to light up the beautifully blended night sky and give the serene nativity silhouette an amazing glow!

Pia created two very elegant black, white, and gold designs using her stars as background elements. Her Christmas card is deeply dimensional with a gold embossed earth and black silhouette sleigh and reindeer. The sentiment in gold on vellum adds a touch of softness to the design. Pia's birthday card focuses on a fun and whimsical large sentiment, sprinkled with golden stars. The addition of the gold frantage elevates the classy textured design!

Linby used a single nestled star for both her distinctly different designs. For her Christmas card, Linby created a golden city which glowed against the black night sky! The large gold nestled star and gold starry sentiment complete this elegant design. For her very CAS friendship card, Linby again cut her large star in gold, but she kicked up the inner star a notch by very cleverly cutting it from holograph paper. It looks like a star-shaped diamond for a super star friend!

Gundi used a starburst border stamp for her two unique designs. Her ethereal sympathy card is very moving with her gentle drawing, watercoloring, glitter, and distressed edging. The star sentiment says, "Stars are the forget-me-nots of angels." For her second charming design, Gundi then used the stamp to create curtains of stars for the village background in celebration of a Merry Christmas!

Wiebke's two designs are both original and creative! For her love/encouragement card, Wiebke used the starry cluster as a trail from a googly-eyed jellyfish swimming through the ocean. The sentiment says, "A light dawned on me ~ you are wonderful!" For her get well card, Wiebke used the same starry cluster as a halo around a brilliant half moon. Hurtling towards the moon is the jellyfish, magically turned into a rocket!

Congratulations to all you talented ladies!
Here is your Honorable Mention badge for you to display with pride!
